Minister of Culture, HE Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received a delegation from the Jaffaria Waqf Directorate chaired by Shaikh Mohsin Al Asfoor to discuss ways to cooperate and coordinate the efforts ofthe archaeological projects, and cultural and historical achievements.
The two parties also discussed the details of cooperation and working on constructional projects especially Al Khamees Visitors Centre.
In addition to the constructional projects, they also discussed Buri Mosque restoration and the development of the old village surrounding it as well as the cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and the Jaffaria Waqf Directorate to record all ancient tombstones that are existed in various governorates of Bahrain.
